Payment & Refunds
Payment is required upon acceptance. Booth spaces are not reserved until payment has been received. Please note that refunds will not be issued in the event of cancellation or no-show.
Insurance Requirements
All vendors must provide proof of insurance. If you have your own coverage, please list both the Beeton Honey Festival and the Town of New Tecumseth (24 Tupper St. W, Alliston, ON, L9R 1H2) as additional insured and email us a copy.
If you do not have insurance, you may purchase affordable 1-day coverage through Duuo (link provided in your acceptance email).
Vendor Categories & Selection
To ensure variety, only a limited number of vendors per category will be accepted. If your application is not approved, you are welcome to join our waitlist and reapply next year.
Food Vendor Licensing
All food vendors are required to hold a concession license from the Town of New Tecumseth. This fee has been included in your vendor pricing and will be submitted on your behalf.
If you already hold a valid annual concession license with the Town, please let us know so we can adjust your payment.
In addition, all food vendors selling edible products must meet the requirements of the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
Arrival & Set-Up
Main Street will officially close at 6:00 AM on festival day. Please do not arrive before this time.
After unloading, vehicles must be moved to the designated parking area. All vehicles must be off the road by 8:00 AM.
Booth numbers will be marked in chalk on the roadway. Volunteers at both ends of the street will help direct you.
Booth Details
This is an outdoor event. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, displays, and weather protection.
Standard electrical outlets are not available. Any electrical needs must be pre-approved by the committee.
Only quiet generators (60 dB or less) are permitted. Louder generators may result in removal from the festival.
Vendor Guidelines
The committee reserves the right to refuse or remove any goods or services deemed unsafe, offensive, or inappropriate.
All displays are placed at the vendor’s own risk. Vendors are responsible for ensuring their booth area is safe, including securing tent guide wires and removing potential hazards.
All goods may be inspected by OPP officers during the festival.
Facilities & Support
Accessible public washrooms are available at the library, with additional portable washrooms located throughout the festival.
First Aid services will be located on Centre Street. For any questions or assistance, visit Honey Headquarters at Centre & Main or speak with a committee member/volunteer (yellow shirts).
Please note: cell service (especially Rogers) can be unreliable in the area.
